Every language.
Actually tested.
Most converters support your language right up until you try it. PrivConvert handles more than 60 writing systems correctly in every conversion we offer, from documents, spreadsheets and presentations to images, vectors and ebooks, with nothing for you to install or embed.

What usually breaks
The four classic failures,
and where we stand
Reversed Hebrew and Arabic
The classic converter failure: right-to-left text renders backwards, or copies out in reverse. We preserve logical text order, so pages read correctly and search, copy and screen readers all work.
Verified correct on PrivConvert
Arabic letters torn apart
Arabic letters join and change shape by position. Pipelines without real text shaping print disconnected letters, like a ransom note. Every engine we run shapes Arabic, Persian and Urdu correctly.
Verified correct on PrivConvert
Boxes instead of characters
Convert Thai, Tamil or Korean on a server with Latin-only fonts and you get rows of hollow boxes. Our servers carry complete, current fonts for every script below. Nothing to install, nothing to embed.
Verified correct on PrivConvert
Emoji that vanish
Many pipelines silently drop emoji or print blank rectangles. We render color emoji in web and markup conversions, and clean monochrome glyphs where the format cannot carry color fonts.

Coverage
Verified writing systems
Native text below is live, not screenshots. Every row was converted through our document, spreadsheet, presentation, web, vector and ebook pipelines and inspected in the output.

The difference
What you are told elsewhere
Embed the fonts in your Word document before uploading.
Right-to-left languages such as Hebrew are not fully supported.
Convert the PDF to Word, replace the font yourself, then convert it back.
Upload the file. It just works.
| Capability | PrivConvert | Typical online converters |
|---|---|---|
| Right-to-left text direction | Preserved end to end | Often reversed or scrambled |
| Arabic, Persian and Urdu shaping | Letters joined correctly | Frequently disconnected |
| Hebrew vowel points and cantillation | Rendered and searchable | Dropped, boxed or misplaced |
| Chinese, Japanese, Korean | Correct forms per language | One Chinese-style font for all |
| Urdu style | Authentic Nastaliq | Generic Arabic style at best |
| Emoji in web conversions | Full color | Blank squares or dropped |
| Fonts | Complete set on our servers | Embed them yourself |
| Redaction term search | Hebrew, Arabic, Cyrillic, Greek, CJK, every digit system | Latin only, if any |
| Legacy subtitle encodings | Detected automatically | Garbled characters |
Based on the public documentation, help centers and support forums of leading online converters, reviewed October 2026. We would love to be wrong about any of them.
Method
How we keep this true
Rendered and inspected, not assumed
Every script on this page was converted through every rendering engine we run, and the output was inspected page by page. If it is listed, we have looked at it.
A locked font baseline
The exact font set on our servers is frozen in a cryptographic baseline. Any drift between environments fails our checks before it can reach you.
Regression suites on every change
Hundreds of automated conversion checks, a dedicated multilingual redaction suite and security tests run after every pipeline change. Language support cannot silently break.
Do not take our word for it
Download our multilingual sample, run it through any document tool and inspect every line of the result. Then try the same file anywhere else.
