Is PrivConvert really free?
Yes. 115+ tools, up to 250 MB per file, batch convert up to 20 files at once. No trials, no premium tier, no credit card required.
What happens to my files after conversion?
Your file is processed in server memory (RAM) and deleted the moment your download is ready. We never write files to disk or store them anywhere. We don't even know what you uploaded.
Do you track me or use analytics?
No. We don't run analytics, don't fingerprint browsers, and don't build user profiles. The only cookies we use are for displaying ads - nothing else.
What is .priv encryption?
It's an open source encrypted file format we built. It encrypts your file content, filenames, and metadata with AES-256 - all on your device. No server involved. You can use it from your browser or terminal.
