EML to PDF Converter
Convert email (.eml) messages to PDF. Free, private, processed entirely in memory — remote images and trackers are never loaded.
Complete the security check to begin
Remote images and tracking pixels are never loaded.
The email is rendered to PDF inside a network-free sandbox, so any remote content it references — tracking pixels, external images, web beacons — is never fetched and the sender is never told the message was opened. Nothing is written outside the temporary in-memory workspace.
Turn an email into a clean PDF record
.eml is the standard file most mail apps export a message to. Converting it to PDF gives you a portable, court- and archive-friendly record showing the sender, recipients, subject, date and full body — ideal for eDiscovery, HR matters or simply keeping proof of a conversation. Everything is processed in memory and deleted the instant your download is ready.
About Converting EML to PDF
An .eml file is the raw, standards-based form of a single email — the same MIME message your mail server handled, complete with the From, To, Cc, Subject and Date headers and the full message body. Almost every mail client (Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook, Gmail’s "Download message") can export to it, but .eml is awkward to read, forward or archive because it needs an email program to open. Converting to PDF turns the message into a self-contained, universally viewable record that shows exactly who sent what, to whom, and when.
Crucially, the conversion happens inside a network-free sandbox. Marketing and phishing emails are riddled with tracking pixels and remotely hosted images that quietly report back "this message was opened, from this IP, at this time" the moment they load. Because our renderer has no network access at all, none of that remote content is ever fetched — you get a faithful PDF of the message without tipping off the sender or leaking your location.
Common use cases
- Preserving an email as evidence for a legal, HR or eDiscovery matter
- Archiving important correspondence outside a mailbox that may be deleted
- Attaching a clean copy of an email to a support ticket or case file
- Forwarding a message to someone who does not use the same mail client
- Keeping a dated, tamper-evident record of an agreement or notice
Tips for best results
- The PDF shows the sender, recipients, subject and date at the top, followed by the message body exactly as written.
- Remote images and tracking pixels are never loaded, so opening the PDF cannot notify the sender or reveal your IP address.
- Attachments inside the .eml are listed by name in the header block; their contents are not embedded — convert or save attachments separately if you need them.
- HTML emails are rendered, not executed: any scripts in the message are ignored, never run.

Private by design, not as an afterthought
Most online converters upload your files to a server, keep them for days, and may mine them for AI training or resale. PrivConvert was built the opposite way — around your privacy.
Every conversion runs in its own locked-down process with no network access, so files can never leak or interfere with one another.
Your files are handled entirely by automated code. No staff, partner or AI model ever reads, stores or trains on your data.
Files are processed in volatile memory (RAM) and purged the instant your download is ready — nothing is ever written to disk, cached or backed up.
Every upload and download is protected with TLS 1.3, so your document cannot be intercepted on the way to the server or back to you.
