CRM & ERP exports / SAP

Convert SAP exports
built for financial-grade caution

ALV spreadsheets, spool PDFs, IDoc XML and the legacy formats older systems still produce, each mapped to the right converter. Files that carry payroll and financials should never sit on a converter’s disk, so here they never touch one.

By export

What SAP gives you,
and what to do with it

ALV grid and table exports

The standard "Spreadsheet..." export from ALV grids, SE16 and report transactions. Newer systems produce XLSX or the binary XLSB; plenty of older ones still hand you .xls.

Spool requests and printed reports

Print output saved as PDF: invoices, dunning letters, payslips, financial statements. Merge batches, pull the numbers back into Excel, or redact before sharing.

IDoc and interface XML

Integration payloads and IDoc exports are XML. Flatten them to CSV for a quick look, or to JSON for scripts and modern pipelines.

Legacy and migration formats

Older landscapes and migration projects still move data as DBF tables, Access databases, plain CSV and SQL dumps. All of it converts here without installing anything.

Nightly report runs?

The developer API turns this page into a pipeline: asynchronous jobs, signed webhooks when each conversion finishes, and the same zero-retention engine underneath. Push the export in, collect the result, nothing remains.

FAQ

Common questions

Is it safe to upload an SAP export here?

SAP exports are the deep end of sensitive: financials, payroll, supplier terms, HR records. That is exactly why PrivConvert processes every file in volatile memory, writes nothing to disk, retains nothing, and deletes the file the moment your download is delivered. The security page documents the full pipeline, layer by layer.

My export opens garbled or as one long column. Can conversion fix that?

Usually yes. Exporting again as XLSX (the "Spreadsheet" option) and converting from there is the most reliable route; our Excel to CSV and XLSX to JSON tools preserve the real cell structure instead of guessing at delimiters.

We produce these reports nightly. Can this be automated?

Yes. The developer API runs the same conversions as asynchronous jobs with signed webhooks, built exactly for scheduled pipelines: push the export in, get notified, download the result, and it is deleted.

What about exports from other ERP systems?

The converters are format-based, so Oracle, NetSuite, Priority, Odoo and Dynamics exports work the same way. Start from the CRM and ERP exports overview to find your file type.
