Access MDB to Excel Converter
Convert a Microsoft Access database (.mdb / .accdb) to one Excel workbook with a sheet per table. Unicode correct, OLE junk stripped. Nothing stored.
Complete the security check to begin
The whole database, one workbook
An Access file is a set of tables; a workbook is a set of sheets. This conversion maps one onto the other: every user table in the .mdb or .accdb lands on its own named worksheet, so the customer table, the orders table and the inventory table arrive together, browsable side by side, without installing Access or wiring up ODBC drivers.
Text is decoded to Unicode on the way through - legacy Hebrew, Cyrillic and accented entries included - dates arrive in ISO form, and system tables are excluded. If a single table is longer than Excel’s 1,048,576-row ceiling, use Access to CSV, which has no sheet limit.
Treated as what it is: a file full of people
Legacy Access databases are almost always registries of customers, patients, members or employees. Uploading one to a service that stores files is a data-protection event waiting to happen. Here the database is parsed inside a sandboxed process with no network access, entirely in memory; it is never written to disk, nothing about its contents is logged, and it is deleted the moment your download is delivered.
The workbook is hardened on the way out: embedded OLE objects are stripped rather than dumped, and any text cell that Excel could read as a formula is neutralised, so nothing in the old database can execute in the new spreadsheet.
Part of a bigger migration?
The CRM & ERP exports guide covers the other formats old systems hand you - DBF tables, SQL dumps, fixed exports - and where each one goes. For recurring jobs, this conversion is on the API at /api/convert/mdb-to-xlsx, with async jobs and signed webhooks.

A more private way to convert MDB files
Plenty of sites convert MDB files. Very few promise never to keep them - PrivConvert does, and backs it up with how the service is built.
Each job runs in an isolated in-memory sandbox, so most conversions finish in seconds instead of waiting in a queue.
We never keep a copy. Once your XLSX is delivered, both the original and the result are gone - there is nothing left to leak or misuse.
Every conversion runs in its own locked-down process with no network access, so files can never leak or interfere with one another.
Your files are handled entirely by automated code. No staff, partner or AI model ever reads, stores or trains on your data.
